The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has officially released a list of newly appointed District Scouts for the 2026 football calendar.
Among the notable appointments is Patrick Bongo, the Head Coach and Chief Executive Officer of Rhino Soccer Academy, who has been named Lira District Scout. Bongo’s appointment is seen as a boost to grassroots football development in Lira City, given his experience in youth development and talent identification.

The appointed FUFA District Scouts will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and reporting talented football players within their respective districts, in line with FUFA's talent identification and development framework under the FUFA Technical Master Plan (TMP).
