The West Nile Region Football Associations (WNRFA) has appointed Lulua Mark as the Head of the Communication Department for the West Nile Region and the Federation of Uganda Football Association FUFA) has appointed him a member of the FUFA Standing Committee in the communication department for a two-year term.
Speaking after his appointment, Lulua expressed gratitude and commitment to serving the football fraternity in the region and the country at large.
“I am honored to have been appointed as a member of the FUFA Standing Committee in the communication department representing the West Nile Region for a two-year term. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the growth and visibility of football in our region and Uganda as a whole,” he said.
The establishment of the communication standing committee underscores Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA)’s commitment to strengthening its communication structures and ensuring that football development programs are effectively communicated to stakeholders across the country.
Under FUFA’s strategic plan, key initiatives include expanded grassroots football support, improvement of community football playing facilities, appointment of regional scouts, and the establishment of standardized football academies nationwide. These programs are designed to nurture young talent, enhance regional competitiveness, and create a clear development pathway for players.
The federation’s long-term vision is to build a sustainable football ecosystem and develop a national team capable of competing consistently at the highest level on the African continent.
Lulua’s appointment is expected to boost communication efforts in the West Nile Region, fostering stronger engagement between the federation, clubs, players, and local communities as Uganda continues to invest in the future of its football.
